The Fund for Major Repairs of the Republic of Karelia is a specialized non-profit organization established in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Karelia "On certain issues of organizing major repairs of common property in apartment buildings located in the territory of the Republic of Karelia" No. 1758-ZRK dated December 20, 2013. The Government of the Republic of Karelia has approved a package of documents regulating the implementation of the Law and the organization of major repairs of apartment buildings in the republic.

The Fund's Charter, approved by the Government's order, outlines the goals and objectives of the Fund, its sources of funding, and the basic provisions of its activities. The main goal of the Fund is to ensure the implementation and financing of major repairs of common property in an apartment building, whose unit owners contribute to the repair fund in accordance with the regional major repair program.

The activities of the Fund for Major Repairs of the Republic of Karelia significantly reduce the increase in dilapidated and emergency housing by continuously monitoring the technical condition of all apartment buildings in the Republic of Karelia and timely organizing major repair works on common property.

The repairs conducted by the Regional operator not only enhance the comfort level of the buildings but also contribute to the capitalization of property for owners, protecting it from inevitable devaluation in modern market conditions.

Vitaliy Viktorovich Berlogin was appointed as the Acting General Director of the Fund for Major Repairs of the Republic of Karelia by the order of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, and Energy of the Republic of Karelia dated January 9, 2018.

Supervision of the Fund's activities, the implementation of its decisions, the use of funds, and compliance with federal and regional legislation are carried out by the Supervisory Council, acting on public principles.
